✧ Race: Miqo'te - Seeker of the Sun
✧ Gender: Female

✧ Hair Color: White with bits of grey mixed in
✧ Skin Tone: In the past, she had very fair colored skin. It has grown much tanner after years under the Thanalan and Gyr Albanian sun.
✧ Eye color: Golden yellow
✧ Body Type: Small but well toned. She’s stronger than she looks.
✧ Tattoos: The yellow markings on her face are tattooed there in honor of her mother who often wore the same pattern.
Angora is a miqo'te with no tribe or blood-related family. They were wiped out by Garleans long before the Calamity took place. She arrived in Eorzea proper about 8-9 years ago right after the events at Carteneau. She spent many years practicing both archery and magic while taking on sellsword work. The work she takes on ranges everywhere from simple deliveries all the way up to espionage against the Garlean Empire. Most of her more questionable jobs are taken on via the Ul'dah underground black market. She has also worked with the Thaumaturge guild many times to deal with Voidsent. Angora was on the battlefield at both Carteneau and The Ghimlyt. Taking lives when necessary (or hired to do so) is nothing new to her.Magic (especially fire-based) is her main choice when it comes to fighting. While she does still use archery often, it's usually for hunting or jobs that require stealth. Angora doesn't dare consider herself a master of the magical arts. Despite that, she does have a great deal of experience and has even developed her own style of fighting/using magic without a staff.

Hello! You can call me Lavi. I go by She/her pronouns. I'm a 26 y/o living on the west coast of the US. I've been playing FFXIV since 2014. Work and RL keep me very busy (and tired), but I've been slowly working on getting back into the RP community. Angora has a LOT of history to her now that I've worked on building for years now.
I am open to just about any kind of RP aside from things that involve relationships and/or ERP. Other than that, I am always happy to shove her at new people and try new stories with her.

Connections
Tiergan - "Brother"
Tiergan was one of the first people Angora met when she came to Eorzea. They've known each other for many years and he is one of the few friends she keeps in contact with. Their bond became strong enough that she refers to him as "Brother" and would do anything for him...despite the fact that she's terrible at checking in with him.
Rhaj'ir - Fiancé (Deceased)
Angora has been in a few relationships in her time, but none were as deep and loving as the one she had with Rhaj'ir. They met on accident in The Twelveswood, where Angora agreed to help teach him the ways of archery. The stoic Keeper never spoke much, only showing his true warm personality to Angora. They had only been weeks away from their marriage when he mysteriously disappeared without a word. He was later pronounced dead, presumed to have been murdered while hunting.
Jaques - "Father" (Deceased)
Jaques holds a very dear place in Angora's heart. Along with Tiergan, he was one of the first people she met when she arrived to Eorzea. The Elezen was always stern and quiet, but he meant well. He took Angora in when she had nowhere else to go. Over time, Angora grew to see him almost as a parental figure. It seems the feeling was mutual, because he warmed up to her and grew protective towards the end of her time living with him. Angora misses him dearly and hasn't been able to track him down in years.
Lurial - Friend
Lurial is the sister of Tiergan who Angora has also gotten to know over the past few years. The two of them are not as close, but Angora respects her greatly. She has Lurial to thank for her favorite weapons, clawed gloves that allow her to cast without a staff while also ripping off someone's face.
Orpheus - Friend/Past Lover
Angora and Orpheus have a complicated relationship. He is a dear friend who has been with her through some of the toughest times she's had in the past few years, including the death of her fiancé. He is one of the few people Angora has trusted enough to share a bed with.
Vaega - Acquaintance
Vaega is someone Angora has only a handful of times via Tiergan. She is wary of him, not knowing if he can be trusted just yet. He seems nice enough, though. If Tiergan trusts him, perhaps she can as well.
Wyra'li - Friend
Wyra'li is another friend Angora met via Tiergan. The two get along fairely well and seem to have the same knack for getting themselves into strange situations. Angora tries to visit the Bistro Fork, Wyra'li's restaurant, when she can so they can compare notes on various aether-related topics. Though it usually ends in Angora unintentionally teaching the brothers a new way to set their home on fire.
Wyra'to - Work Partner
Wyra'to, the older brother of Wyra'li, is someone that Angora enjoys harassing even when they aren't working. She teams up with the headstrong Moon Keeper fairely often for various underground jobs that gets them both into trouble.
Li'yera Aurel - Best Friend
Yera is one of Angora's longest (and still living) friends. They've been through hell and back together for the last 6-7 years. Angora now works under Yera in her Free Company since she had nowhere to call home at the time when she returned home from The Ghimlyt. She often reaches out to Yera for comfort during hard times and tells her secrets that she has not trusted anyone else with.
Caspian King - Gremlin/Best Friend
Angora met Caspian through his adoptive mother Li'yera once she moved into the Free Company house. It didn't take long for them to develop a sibling-like relationship where they both care and harass each other on a regular basis. Caspian is the one person that Angora goes full tilt on being a total gremlin towards. They are often found wrestling or taking a nap together. Caspian is a healer who has also saved her life more than once and claims she is the reason he has grey hairs.

✧ It's fairly common for Angora to assist the Thaumaturge guild with various jobs and projects. She can usually be found wandering through Ul'dah or in the guild's library if she's not drinking at the Quicksand. Have a voidsent problem? Angora has dealt with more than her fair share and is willing to help...for the right price.✧ Angora runs the company library for her free company that is owned by Li'yera. If she is not in the bar downstairs, she's usually in the library or her loft above it.✧ Are you related to anything Garlean? Angora has spent many years sneaking into various castrums for information or to cause general chaos for the Garlean army. She is often hired by the Adders to do their dirty work. It's possible you've heard mention of her or seen her no matter which side you are on.✧ Angora has worked in the black market/underground for more years than she'd like to admit. There was a time she'd do just about any job sent her way if the money was good. She's much pickier nowadays but still will take on various mercenary jobs. Angora has a reputation for being a masked mercenary who never leaves a job unfinished.✧ Are you a healer? Due to her line of work, Angora gets all kinds of injuries. It's possible she has stumbled into your clinic or you may even just find her passed out somewhere. She has a bad habit of stressing out her healer friends on a regular basis.
